Scary Video Shows a Bounce House Floating Away Straight into Power Lines

Scary Video Shows a Bounce House Floating Away Straight into Power Lines

This is definitely what you don’t want to see at a kid’s birthday party: a bounce house flying away straight into the power lines after being swept up in the air by a big gust of wind. You can actually see it first fly away from the power lines but then suddenly make a quick U-turn straight into the transmission tower. After it makes contact, sparks fly and a mini-explosion could even be heard. Scary.

Watch a Carnivorous Plant Wrap Itself Around a Bug and Entomb It

Watch a Carnivorous Plant Wrap Itself Around a Bug and Entomb It

Meet the Drosera Capensis, also known as the Cape sundew. It’s a deadly little thing that looks like some sort of alien finger trap but it’s actually a carnivorous plant with sticky tentacles that basically entomb bugs that come across its way. It’s crazy to see how it traps the bug, as if it were first hugging it to paralyze it and then folding vertically to trap it forever.

The Most Beautiful Fireworks Show in China Is Literally a Blacksmith Throwing Molten Metal Around

The Most Beautiful Fireworks Show in China Is Literally a Blacksmith Throwing Molten Metal Around

Fireworks, which were invented in China, are obviously a big deal in China. But no fireworks show in any part of the country and very probably the world can match the sheer spectacle and beautiful audacity of the fireworks show in Nuanquan, China. That’s because it’s more of a molten metal show. A blacksmith, wearing only a big hat and a sheepskin vest, just starts throwing and scoop tossing molten metal all against the wall of the city to let it sparkle and rain fire. It’s crazy! It’s so dangerous! It’s so awesome.

Playing Soccer with a Ball That’s on Fire

Playing Soccer with a Ball That's on Fire

I get it now! That’s why soccer doesn’t let players use their hands. Just in case they decide to start playing with a fireball. Watch Joltter, Andrew Henderson, and Melody Donchet do tricks with a ball that’s on fire and also hit a free kick too.

Watch a Boat Crash Straight into the Dock

Watch a Boat Crash Straight into the Dock

It’s like when you’re parking your car in a parking lot and your tire bumps the curb because you went a little too far, only it’s a giant boat that’s gone too far and the curb is a dock with a bunch of people walking around. So yeah, not exactly the same. A lot, a lot worse.

Biking Ridiculously Fast Down a Bobsled Track Is a Crazy Thing to Do

Biking Ridiculously Fast Down a Bobsled Track Is a Crazy Thing to Do

It’s like this whole bike race is in fast forward or something. But it’s actually just on an abandoned bobsled track on the mountain Trebevic in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The speed that the bikers reach and the angles at which they are riding are totally insane so it’s best for us mere mortals to stay away from the real life equivalent of podracing in Star Wars.

This Video of People Climbing a Skyscraper Is So Damn Stressful

Shun Hung Square is a 1,260-foot tall skyscraper that’s the third tallest building in Shenzhen, China. It’s really, really tall. And watching the guys from On the Roofs climb it gets more and more stressful because they just keep going up. You think they’ve reached the top but there’s still another level that’s narrower and more dangerous and higher to climb.

Skier Somehow Survives a Terrifying 1,000-foot Tumble Down a Mountain

Skier Somehow Survives a Terrifying 1,000-foot Tumble Down a Mountain

I don’t know how this is possible (but I am very thankful it is) but immediately after skiier Angel Collinson tumbled 1,000 feet down the side of an Alaskan mountain, she sat up and told everyone that she was going to walk back up the mountain to get her stuff. I mean, how bad ass is that. After being put in the dangerous whirlwind free fall for what seemed like forever (the drop kept going and going and going), she just brushed it off like it was nothing. Incredible.

Almost Getting Smashed By a Swinging Wrecking Ball to Prove a Law of Physics Is Crazy

Almost Getting Smashed By a Swinging Wrecking Ball to Prove a Law of Physics Is Crazy

Our favorite physicist Andrea Wahl is back with his wild experiments where he blends real life physics with Jackass-style self torture. This time he uses a swinging wrecking ball to prove how conservation of energy can neither be created or destroyed, it transforms into other forms. Basically, as dangerous as being in the line of fire of the swinging wrecking ball, it won’t touch the mad physicist.
