Tesla’s semi truck may prove to be a huge money maker

Tesla Semi Truck

It's no secret that Tesla over the past few months has been working furiously to finish up work on a fully electric semi-truck. Just a few weeks ago, Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla is tentatively planning to hold an official unveiling event for the vehicle on October 26.

While it remains unclear if the photo is authentic, it's worth noting that the sleek sloping design of the truck bears a strong resemblance to the teaser photo Tesla originally sent out a few months ago.

Google wants to test next-gen wireless tech by using racecars

Google Fiber wireless tests? Next-gen last mile tech on trial

Google has filed an application with the FCC for permission to test next-gen wireless technology at racetracks. The filing seeks authorization to experiment with transmissions on the 3.5GHz frequency, a hot topic for development as the industry looks harder at 5G, and what comes next.

The tests will be conducted at Plano and Fort Worth from October 1st until April next year.
