The Galaxy Note 8 will ship with a version of Android we’ve never seen before

Galaxy Note 8 vs. Galaxy S8

The Galaxy Note 8 launch is just a week away, but there’s no shortage of Note 8 leaks churning out of the rumormill. A new report, however, says the Galaxy Note 8 should have one other advantage over the Galaxy S8: It'll offer a better Android experience.

Protecting 3D printers from cyberattacks could be as simple as listening carefully

As 3D printers grow smarter and continue to embed themselves in manufacturing and product creation processes, they are exposed to online malefactors just like every other device and network. Security researchers suggest a way to prevent hackers from sabotaging the outputs of 3D printers: listen very, very carefully. Read More

Best Thin iPhone 7 Plus Case

It’s great for simple scratch protection, but sometimes you want something that guards your iPhone in the event of drops or impacts. Well, we have just the thing. The PITAKA Aramid Fiber iPhone 7 Case and PITAKA Aramid Fiber iPhone 7 Plus Case are made out of real body armor material, so they offer unrivaled protection. This super strong material also allows PITAKA to make the cases ultra-thin at just 0.65mm! Trust us, you have to check these out.

Here are the highlights from the Amazon page:

  • Slim and Sensuous With "Body Armor Grade" Protection and ZERO Compromise, made possible with Aramid Fiber. Now, your phone is protected with the same material used in body armor, spacecraft, jet engines, and Formula 1 Race cars. Yet, it retains the thinness of your iPhone the day you purchased it -- before it was covered up with an thick bulky case.
  • Enjoy your "almost naked' iPhone with a case that is thinner than a dime. Thickness 0.03 inch. Min. Weight 0.28 oz. So light that you even will not feel the weight increase to your phone. Yet, with unparalleled protection from everyday "real world" drops.
  • A Soft 3D-Grip touch. Texture you need to feel to believe. It almost clings to your hand without feeling sticky.
  • Extraordinarily scratch resistant. A protective three-layer coating and manual polishing is applied to each phone case. Now feel confident carrying your phone in purse or pocket along with keys and coins.

  • Fits your phone perfectly. Our secret process for vacuum forming technology ensures the cases are perfectly formed to the phone size. No metallic properties mean zero signal interference. A turnkey solution for protection with premium AGC tempered glass screen protector from Japan--- Package Includes : 1 x Aramid case for iPhone 7; 1 x AGC Tempered glass screen protector

Nintendo Switch consoles are still warping while sitting in the dock

Nintendo Switch warping

All things considered, the launch of the Nintendo Switch was relatively smooth.

Other than the supply problems, the only major issue at launch came in the form of the left Joy-Con controller failing to pair with the console. Nintendo addressed the issue, but in the weeks following the March launch, another, far more sinister complication began to rear its head: Some Switch owners were beginning to notice that their consoles were bending in half, as if pressure had been applied. Months later, a new report claims that the warping of Switch consoles never stopped.

After months of delays, the Essential phone will finally ship this month

Essential Phone Shipping

After launching his first smartphone in late May, former Android guru Andy Rubin said that the Essential Phone would ship within 30 days after preorders. Rubin’s startup that’s valued at more than $1 billion even though it never shipped a product missed that deadline, and it never explained what caused the delay. However, if you purchased the expensive Android handset in late May, you should be happy to hear it’ll ship in seven days.

Did T-Mobile just leak video of the LG V30 in the wild?

T-Mobile 600MHz video leaks LG V30

Earlier today, T-Mobile lit up its new 600MHz network in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Over the next year, 600MHz is going to make T-Mobile's network way better, but right now, no phone on sale can use the frequency.

So to demonstrate the new network, T-Mobile had to use an unreleased device that will be compatible with its new network. T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray already confirmed that Samsung and LG will both have 600MHz-compatible devices on sale by the end of the year, and based on highly scientific forensic analysis of the video clip, all signs point to an LG device.

This is not a drill: Amazon has Apple AirPods listed at MSRP for the first time ever

Where To Buy Apple AirPods

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is not a drill. Amazon has had Apple AirPods listed for sale numerous times before, but they were always sold at a premium. For people who wanted them in hand in a matter of days instead of four to six weeks, Amazon was a fine option. But not everyone wants to pay a premium even though Apple's shipping quotes are still crazy. Well, it's time to have your cake and eat it too. For the first time ever, Amazon has AirPods available for purchase at their list price of $160. The AirPods page lists them as being in stock on August 24th with free Prime shipping, which means Prime members who order them right now will have them delivered by the end of next week. This definitely isn't going to last, so hurry up and grab a pair while you still can.

Here are some key details from the product description:

  • Audio automatically plays as soon as you put them in your ears and pauses when you take them out.
  • To adjust the volume, Change the song, make a call, or even get directions, just double-tap to activate Siri.
  • Because the ultralow-power W1 chip manages battery life so well, airpods deliver an industry-leading 5 hours of listening time on One charge.
  • They’re made to keep up with you, thanks to a charging case that holds multiple additional charges for more than 24 hours of listening time.
  • Need a quick charge? just 15 minutes in the case gives you 3 hours of listening time.
