Retro keyboards are becoming more popular and one startup has a promising design.

Elretron's Penna keyboard appears to have legs, outweighing the competition, thanks to its stunning design that comes amid a retro feel.

The keyboard’s appeal lies in its combination of old-time typewriter aesthetics with modern keyboard technology. And it promises to offer the opposite of the experience you get on Apple’s newest “Butterfly” MacBook keyboards, which have shallow key strokes to accommodate Apple’s thin designs.

Installing Ikea’s Trådfri was a breeze. I just followed the handy instructions, and a few minutes later my home was slightly smarter. But as soon as I finished, I realized there’s one critical piece missing. Ikea’s intelligent home products were not compatible with Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa, and Google’s Home. Thankfully, that all changes today.

South Carolina warns citizens of ‘Lizard Man’ sightings during solar eclipse

The South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD) is warning citizens in several of its counties to be vigilant of paranormal activity associated with the upcoming total solar eclipse. Considering that the eclipse is a space event, you might think the warning is simply an amusing alert to keep an eye out for UFOs, but that's really not the cast. SCEMD is being quite specific about its advice, and it's asking citizens to be wary of... Lizardmen.

Ford may have cheated German emissions tests

Ford emissions test cheating in Germany

The German road transport watchdog has opened an investigation into whether Ford installed an emissions cheat device in the Ford Mondeo sedan, business paper WirtschaftsWoche reported today.

The report said that the road transport watchdog has reviewed emissions test data that is consistent with the use of a cheater device. An independent lab will be conduction testing to see if the car does have an emissions test cheat device installed. Neither Ford nor the German agency has yet issued public comment on the matter.

Sure, there are still many mysteries buried inside iOS 11 related to the way the iPhone 8’s unique features will work, even though some of them were partially detailed by the leaked HomePod software. But the phone’s overall design is not going to shock us.
