Today’s Massive Ransomware Attack Was Mostly Preventable—Here’s How To Avoid It

Ransomware may be mostly thought of as a (sometimes costly) nuisance, but when it hinders the ability of doctors and nurses to provide aid to those in need of emergency medical care, then it qualifies as armed robbery.

Season 2 of Aziz Ansari’s ‘Master of None’ is now streaming on Netflix

Master Of None Season 2 Release Date

May is a monster month for Netflix. The world's #1 provider of streaming entertainment will release more original content during the month of May than it has ever released before in a single month, including six different Netflix originals that have been released today alone. In total, Netflix has 29 new original TV show seasons, movies, and comedy specials that will hit the site this month, including new seasons of critically acclaimed Netflix series like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and House of Cards. You can see the complete list of new Netflix originals arriving in the month of May right here in this post.

Right now, however, we'd like to focus on one new Netflix show in particular, Master of None, which was created by one of the hottest comics in the business right now. That's right, the one and only Aziz Ansari.

New OnePlus 5 leak confirms everything we already know about the design

OnePlus 5 leaked design vs Galaxy S8

The OnePlus 5's release date is still a distant speck in the future, but we've already seen a frenzy of details leaked. So far, it looks like the OnePlus 5 is shaping up to be a genuine Android flagship for a highly affordable price. Rumors have it coming in at $450, or as we like to call it around here, 0.45 of an iPhone 8.

But while leaked spec sheets have given us a good idea what's going to be inside the OnePlus 5, that's arguably not the most important thing. Any half-decent flagship smartphone in 2017 has awesome specs that mean you're going to have all-day battery life, a great camera, strong performance and a crisp display. The real question is if you can combine that with a design that people actually want to show off.

After years of anticipation, Tesla's mass market EV will finally start being delivered to early reservation holders in just a few short months. A massive Windows hack has swept through Europe, and is starting to reach the US

Ransomware attack: Wannacry analysis

Since early Friday morning, reports have been coming in about a massive ransomware attack sweeping through Windows PCs in Europe. The National Health Service in England has had numerous hospitals and doctor's offices hit, and a number of private companies have reported a similar attack.

According to reports from some companies, systems in the US are starting to see the attack, and IT departments are urging employees to shut down any "non-essential" systems to avoid infection.

You might think space is the final frontier, but there’s an entire alien world beneath the sea. Exploring the deepest abysses even looks a lot like exploring outer space. So, we set up some time with Fabien Cousteau, aquanaut, Jacques Cousteau’s grandson, and arguably the ocean’s biggest fan, to chat about what it’s…

You can’t stop people from calling you on your Amazon Echo

Amazon Echo: Alexa calling

Earlier this week, Amazon announced the Echo Show -- the first Echo device with a touchscreen display. Alongside that announcement, Amazon revealed that voice calling and messaging would be coming to all of its Echo devices and the Alexa app as well. Unfortunately, the company appears to have made a major oversight when bringing voice calls to every Alexa device, one that threatens user privacy.
